Hey Thrall. Rowy is a good idea. I was there on m holidays with parents. I have good memories from this place. It's one of the most reaxing places at the Baltic Sea. If you want to rest, go there. It's a good place
Reply to this Thank you for useful info. I'll keep my eye on this town, even though i have never heard of it before. :D
Reply to this About Dziwnowek and Darlowko - I heard these places are typical seaside towns, full of turists, shops and markets. Ofcourse, you can relax there, find some biking trails. You can also go for a cruise, but im afraid its only possible in the summer (season).
Reply to this In that case, I need to collect some info about hotels and restaurants in this town. Hope I get some good results. Thanks everybody for the help Talk to you tomorrow!
Reply to this Hi again
I did my research on the web and I think that Rowy really is a place for me. Looks beautiful, away from crowds and close to nature. 😊
Reply to this I was in Rowy with my child last year. Was really great, I have great memories from that place. Rowy's got my voice 😉
Reply to this About hotels - do you have anything to suggest me? I really need SPA. BTW. is there bike rental in Rowy? Or biking trails?
Reply to this As far as biking trails are concerned, I recommend you the Slowinski National Park. Great place, there are coastal lakes, historical villages and famous sand dunes. Really great!

When I was there last year, I made friends with another tourists (our children got on well lol) and they stayed at the Kormoran hotel in Rowy. We're still in contact so I can ask them about details and their opinion on that hotel. As far as I know it's the only high standards hotel in there. I don't know anything specific right now, but I remember they were pleased - they used SPA and talked about some activities programmes orginised by the hotel. I also know they have a swimming pool, cause my son was there :P So looks good. I believe they have a website so look for it. I will post back when I have some info from my friends.
Reply to this Ok, so their opinion - like i mentioned - is very positive. They compliment rooms standards and style, they stressed that there's a good restaurant and cafe in Kormoran, so you shouldn't be worried about cuisine. There are also seasonal events, if you're there in the right time 😉 I don't know if you're going there with children, but they were happy about the fact, that hotel has special treatment and standards for children.
Reply to this Yes, im planning to go with my family, two children. And that's a great news to hear! 😊 So i have a one good option for this moment. But I would like to explore more options in Poland. Can you tell me more about other parts of this country?
Reply to this As an alternative you should read about Hel Peninsula. It's by far the most popular place for tourists at the polish seaside. But as you know, not everything that's popular is good. Hel has its charm(beautiful beaches) but it also has its disadvantages (the place is swarmed with hotels and souvenir shops)... so decision is ultimately up to you.
Reply to this How badly crowded it is? Bare in mind that im planning my trip for early March, probably so I think that's not a season for seaside holidays... or am I wrong? 😊
Reply to this No, I don't think there should be crowds in March there. Mountains would still be a more popular course. Personally, I think Hel Peninsula - even in off season term - would be a bad idea. Even though you would probably be one of the few tourists there, the infrastructure makes Hel look ugly. Lots of not so new hotels, shops, markets and souvenirs everywhere. It's better to stay in Rowy and enjoy nature 😉
Reply to this Hi there, how about Leba? Next to the National Park and massive sand dunes? I love this place and I used to go there often when I was a child. Thsi time of the year there will be no crowds, rest assured. A trip to Gdansk would be great and Hel is also nice.

Reply to this Hi there- I've been reading through all these posts as they will be helpful for my trip in May. I plan to take about 1 month to travel through Poland, Czech,Hungary and Romania. Any tips on how much to budget per day in each country, how to travel- train or bus and what route to take, and things to see and places to stay would be very helpful. Also do you think 1 month is enough... about 1 week in each country? Thanks so much!
Reply to this I would recommend for you to travel via coach.Type my username into google and you'll find a free coach comparison site that has a flexible calendar search feature which finds fares for as low as £1. Hope this helped.
