Traveling on a budget in Eastern Europe

Hi there- After so much time spent in Spanish speaking countries, I am ready to get somewhere new. I would like to travel about Eastern Europe next May and June for about 6 weeks. I would like to know of any great itineraries you could suggests including lengths of time in each country. I'm looking at probably 5-6 countries in this short time, perhaps fewer, including, but not limited to Poland, Romania, Czech, and Hungary. I am also traveling on a shoestring and so would like to make it cheap. Any info you have on how to do that or on using any sites such as helpx.com or workaway.com would be helpful. Any help on an idea of a per day budget would also be helpful. Thanks so much!
