Hello Nick and welcome to Travelblog!

Some passports allow you to get visas at the airport. If you cannot get this, then my suggestion would be to apply for your visa early - and you'll need to provide information on your accommodation and especially your flights into and out of France.

The weather for December will be cool and wet in the mid and North, whereas the weather is milder closer to the Mediterranean in the South.

I spent a lot of time in France, but mostly in Paris so cannot comment on the rest of the country, but you should allow at least one week in Paris - there is a lot to see there. Ensure you visit nearby Versailles as well. Purchase a Paris Museum Pass, it will save you a lot of money and you avoid the queues.

I'm not sure the costs for 20 days as it has been a while since I visited, but that will depend on what type of accommodation you like to stay at (budget, mid-range or luxury). There are other options instead of hotels, such as through AirBnB or Couchsurfing, as they are cheaper alternatives. Reply to this

Thanks Shane Dallas! Thanks a lot in helping me in planning my foreign trip. Your information is quiet useful. I ll take help of all your advices. Also, my other friends have suggested me to take visa on airport only. Also m buying REbelfone international sim card for my foreign journey, so that i atleast save money on international roaming charges. Reply to this

Hey Nick,

Before you take Rebelfone SIM Card, better you check with Rebelfone reviews. You would find mixed reviews about that. Some people are happy with services & some not. So its better you first check with rebelfone reviews then make your purchase. Reply to this
