Has anyone got any great tips for CHEAP accommodation near the Olympic Park London.
Looking at staying over the Paralympics and need somewhere close enough to walk. Budget of around $30 pn wont stretch far, but hoping to find somewhere to lay my head.
Any tips really appriciated.

I'm a Games Maker (volunteer) at the Olympic Park. I camped over the Olympics... much joy!!!
Point being a fellow GM recommended a fab Hostel – I checked it out – where I'm staying for the Paras – just 5mins walk to Victoria Gate – Stadium views ONLY £27 a night – YES – ONLY £27 a night. Really nice people too – newly kitted out. What's the catch you may say. NONE lol – they've only just launched the place so are still trying to fill the beds. You owe me a beer if you stay there. I would need to check, which I can't be arsed right now, but think they are doing £15 a night pre Paras if you need somewhere now
