Going to Iceland in June and guess what, I don't know much about the country.

Going to Iceland this June and because of tickets issue, Iceland air don't let me transit for more than a week. I will only have 7 days to visit part of the country.

Iceland is to me the movie location, the geyser, the natural beauties, but in fact, I know almost nothing about this country. I will be landing very early in the morning in Reykjavik and will have 7 days to visit before leaving again. This time for London.

I will probably rent a car for a day or two, but will be back from a 2 month road trip so I really don't feel like driving the entire country nor drive 10 hours a day. Looking for a way to see some of the country.

Keep in mind that I prefer seeing less better that run to see to much.

Anyone have suggestion

Cheers

A friend recommend going to Gulfoss to see the falls and Geysir. It is apparently about 2h away from the capital.

waiting for more suggestion 😊.

Nick,

I did a lot in just 4 days....but driving a lot, you'll have to do if you want to see something.

Diving/snorkeling Silfra was amazing!

Rental cars are pretty cheap...but beware...speed limit on country roads is 90km/h....too slow and boring...

Amazing country! Reply to this
