22/m/Guernsey (channel islands)
I am looking to go traveling next Feb/March for a number of months (not decided on how long yet but pretty limitless) I am thinking of starting in thailand - puket then just seeing where my feet take me over the rest of east Asia and down to Australia etc.
I am currently planning on travelling by myself due to my closest friends having other family/work commitments. I am a normal down to earth lad, that just wants to travel, meet new people and see the world. I haven't really planned a route as such so i'm pretty flexible on when/where to go.
it would be awesome to join up with other backpackers to share the same experience. Has any one else got similar plans?

My name is Fiona, 23 and from Ireland. I'm hoping to do pretty much the exact same thing as you, start off in Thailand in February and go with the flow. Also in the same boat with friends, although a few have said they would like to come I know that they will bottle out closer to the time!

Reply to this Just saw your guys' post. I'm going to be in Thailand starting in Feb for two+ months. I'm leaving home on Feb 29th and should be in BKK a day later. If you'd like, LMK and we can meet and see if our plans coincide. My last trip in Thailand was about 2 months long and was a blast.
