We have travellled through the UK in a RV with children. Now we are considering a 12 day trip to Italy. We are considering signing up with a travel company this time. We have kids 8, 12, 13. I travelled with my folks, a very long time ago on a commercial travel tour. I was 15 and my sister was 12. We didn\\\'t seem to cause any problems.

Thoughts ????

Are mt kids too young ? Reply to this

I think you will be fine, Italy has so many interesting things to offer, from Colosseum to pizza and ice cream that I think they will enjoy it too. But it is obviously important to prepare them well of what they will see, and bring some distraction if they get bored with museums like books, mp3 player etc. And expect that you may have to skip some things to go for an ice cream instead. I think it is great to travel with children, you experience other things, and usually they behave. It will be a great memory for them too. So go ahead! Reply to this
