Okay, first off hey guys!! I'm new to forums thought I'd join today and see if you guys can help me out.
I am going a study abroad program with my university this summer. I will be either going to the program where we just visit England or the other program where we will start with England, visit France and end in germany and then head back to USA from there.
When I land in the UK I will have my Greencard and a Traveling document (US re-entry permit) from the US.
As of now, I only have a Greencard. I cannot get a passport from Pakistan since I haven\'t been there for 10years...
Now, what will I need for the customs in the UK? Visa? Any other Traveling Docs?
Also, can I just travel between those countries or will I need additional documents from france and germany to enter aswell?
Reply to this You will definitely need a passport, and if you are a Pakistan citizen you will need a visa for the UK and another a so-called Schengen visa for the other European countries you mention (France and Germany are members of the Schengen area, while the UK is not). I don't know if there is any way to travel without having a passport, but you could contact the UK consulate/embassy and find out if there is any way around this.
