Hey there! Have you got a métro map of Paris in hand? If not, you can use this website http://ratp.fr/
It is the métro/train/bus networks in Paris. Then if you choose the English version, then click 'Finding your way', one of the items in the pull-down menu shows you an interactive map where all the lines are included. Each line is represented by a different color, and I guess it is not too difficult to locate your state, Bonne Nouvelle? Then you click Bonne Nouvelle - you'll see line 8 and 9 will be highlighted. So you know where these 2 lines are leading to..
La Tour Eiffel locates at the station 'Bir-Hakeim' on line 6, you thread line 6 either up or down you'll find a junction with line 9 at Trocadéro and a junction with line 8 at La Motte Picquet Grenelle, so it means you take your line 8 or 9 (doesnt matter so much which one) and change to line 6 at either of these 2 junctions until you get off at Bir-Hakeim.
In the same principle you will reach the rest spots on your list: Notre Dame is at station St-Michel (Line 4), Panthéon is at Cluny La Sorbonne (Line 10 or RER B, RER is a train), Louvre is at Palais Royal Musée du Louvre (Line 1 or 7), and le Jardin des Plantes is at Jussieu (Line 7). You just have to find the junction points of different lines - its simple in principle though at certain hubs its practically confusing because of the rather complicated underground tunnels, but, follow the signs, you'll always get there =)
Besides, you dont necessarily start from your accommodation station all the time, right (I suppose)? So, you dont have to locate yourself from Bonne Nouvelle anytime, but instead, be clear of your destination station and check out the map where your present standing station is, then, make the connection between these two, and thats it! (oh sometimes you do have to make several changes, up and down the stairs a lot, but thats part of Paris transportation, be prepared :P)
Let me know if you need more info =) Good luck there!
