Need advice on where to look for work in europe
14 years ago, March 11th 2010 No: 1 Msg: #106207
I'm starting to plan a year long trip to europe. I'm saving as much as i can before I leave but I still plan on working along the way. I'm not exactly sure where I should start my job search. I know france has the vendage around september and 'm looking for hostel jobs aswell. Apart from that I don't know what types of travel friendly work is out there. I don't have a EU passport and I'll probably get one or two working holiday visas but I'd like to visit serveral country's and don't want to be restricted to one or two. Is it that hard to find work under the table or should i try and get a whole bunch of visas?

This thread discusses some of the pitfalls of non-EU citizens working in Europe with the current economic climate:

Working in Europe

Have you read up on the ins and outs of the Schengen zone? There will be restrictions on how long you can stay inside these countries so it might not be as easy as getting work visas for different countries.
