I have just spent the last few hours going through the Trip Advisor\'s Rome Accomodation review also many internet searches....and OMG there are sooooo many and I still don\'t know.
What I do know is we are staying 3 nights from 1st June 2010, and have a budget of 80-110 pounds per night twin room with private bathroom....and having never been to Rome or Italy for that matter it is all confussing!!!! But I\'m guessing it\'s all apart of the adventure :-)
I\'m thinking it\'ll be nice to stay in the center of Rome, but it looks like most hotels in our Budget are in the termni area.....is this good or bad??? I was hoping somewhere near the Spanish steps.....
So I\'m wondering if anyone can recommend a good place to stay, or any advice :-)
Thx
Mel
Reply to this Hi! I was in Rome the last summer with my family. We stayed at Hotel
on via Nazionale. It is a 3 star hotel and quite easily accessible from all tourist spots. Take a bus from Termini(i dont remember the bus no. sorry) and get down at via Nationale 2 stops from Termini. the hotel is right on the street. At 95Euros incl. a hearty breakfast,it is a good deal though the view from room is nothing worth watching. But who cares ? It is a good place to rest at night after walking through Rome!
