Hello Cristelle 😊

40 Euros each is quite a lot to spend per night on a hostel in Rome. Many hostel beds are less than 20 Euros per night.

Google Hostels, Rome and a list will come up with reviews and a description of the hostels various amenities.

I dont think the train station in Rome is such a great place to stay near. It is reputed for crime, so a place to spend as little time as possible.

Last time I was in Rome, I stayed near the Vatican city. The location was good, but the hostel was the one I have least enjoyed staying in so far, so I wont recommend it . It was very inexpensive though.

Anyway the public transport in Rome is good, so you dont really need to stay near the Vatican city. Near any subway stop is good.

Have you tried looking for a short term rental?
