Hello!
We are a couple at 24 years old and have good healthy.
I find some two treks looks nice and attractive both from your book.
The first one is around Ortisei:
From Seceda to Prere Longia to Forces de Sieles and before Rifugio Puez to get down to Selva and take a bus to Ortisei.
The route number is 2b and changing to 2 and under PIZ DE PUEZ getting down with route 16 to VALLUNGA LANGENTAL VAL.
i'm thinking of making it shorter by getting down with route 17 through COL DALA PIERES and RIF stevia.
can i make this rout shorter and finishing it in *St. Cristinia*?
The other one is near Canazei:
From Passo Sella with cable railway to Rifugio T Demetz and walk on route 526 to St. Cristinia.
How difficult is this routs?
Can you measure the time it takes?
Any other recommend things?
Thanks!
Yirmi.
Reply to this Last year I were in Val Gardena and i can propose you this walk (for maybe a next holiday in Val Gardena :-)):
Start: Parish church in Ortisei, parking garage at the bottom station of the Seceda
Walking time: 3 hrs.
Marking: No. 4
Leaving the church we hike on the road to St. Jakob (30 minutes). The hamlet we are ascending to is behind a big Hotel. We continue past the farm houses towards a thin forest. After the two armed cross we reach a level area, soon passing the meadow surrounded farm houses of St. Christina. Continuing upwards and finally turning into the Cislestal with its a very beautiful view. At a junction with several sign-posts, we leave the trail and after a few minutes we finally reach the nearby Gamsbluthütte. A very nice hut ;-)
From there, crossing a grassy shoulder, a steep path leads within 15 minutes to the restaurant at the top station of the Col Raiser cable railway. There is an magnificent view. I have found some very beautiful pictures on http://www.flickr.com/photos/tomnorton/2703889376/ . There is raffigurated Seceda, not Col Raiser, but it's near to the walk.
We can hardly miss the continuing path (no. 4) as we can already see the Regensburger Hütte, which is 20 minutes away to the northeast.
Return: On foot on path No. 1 or by the Col Raiser turn-round cable railway to S. Cristina.
