I am moving to south america within the next year. And will be teaching english to students as a foriegn language. id like to go to panama, i am not 100% set on moving to panama but will be moving to some place in latin america.
i do not want to live down there alone so im wondering if anyone is doing the same thing or planning on moving down there, or if anyone is just up for a wild adventure, we could join forces and get sweet pad down there. i am a 20 year old male, college student. i like playing music, drawing, tattooing. i like the outdoors and i like to have a good time. let me know if your interested.
ALSO. if you have done TEFL/TESL (teaching English as a foreign language) in South America i would very much appreciate it if you could share some of your experiences down there. I.E how are the people, how are the sites wheres good places to visit, how is the social scene, and any other information that is good to note. thank you.
Reply to this Hey - I am going to be in South America between 24th August and 10th November '09. Starting in Venezuela meeting a friend of mine who moved there 2 years ago then I need to end up in Buenos Aires by 10th Nov to get flight to Oz. My friend organises tours etc so will be doing awesome stuff with him (white water rafting, los llanos, anaconda/caimen hunting etc) then through Colombia to lost city and bogota with him then I'm doing Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Argentina on my own so if you wanna hook up at some point possibly then let me know and maybe we can work something out. I would think I'll be in Colombia in early september. I have 10 weeks in South America whilst I'm there and not an awful lot of a plan at the moment. All I know is that in those 10 weeks I'd like to visit the Galapagos Islands, Machu Picchu and The Amazon. They are my main targets however there are thousands of places I've seen that I'd like to go to on the way but I just dont have the time considering I need to be in Argentina for a flight on 10th Nov.
How long are you planning to be in South America?
