HOSTELS in LONDON

Hi everyone I plan on going to London in July to find a nannying job however initially will be staying in a hostel/s for the first 2-3 weeks. Can anyone give me any advice? Can anybody recommend one? What should I know about staying in one???

If you are going to be staying in one until you find a job, then things like whether they have kitchen facilities may be an important factor. If you Google London, Hostels a list will come up with descriptions of the facilities the hostels offer.

Also, it may be worth noting that some hostels dont approve of people staying long term and may get a bit grumpy if you stay longer than a week.

Some hostels in Dublin now have long term stay offers. You pay a lower rate per night but say you are staying for at least a month. It is quite good because of the price and it means not having to commit to all that goes with renting a room in a shared house, if you are looking for a live in job. Maybe there are hostels that offer something like this in London.
