Reply to this You need to get your self sorted out a bit better before you go! My best tip would be to buy a Europe guide book either rough guide or lonely planet and have a good read and think about where you want to go. I can't tell you cos I have no idea what you like to do. Are you coming from England or USA? If you are from UK I'm sure you'll be aware of the unemployment problems in Europe at the moment, if you are expecting to find work you will need to do some serious research in advance regarding how and where to find it. If you have specific questions I am sure you will get better help but people on a website can't tell you how to spend your summer - it's your life after all!
Reply to this erm ok thanks, but now i feel even more unsure!!! god i really am not sure what wer gonna do! wer coming from uk but as u can telli have no idea about anything!
Reply to this Hello Clare and welcome to the forum!
Europe is truly a wonderful place - and so close to you! Before any trip, there are some important questions to ask yourself - namely what is the goal and purpose of the trip, is it:
1) Museums and Galleries
2) Historical Buildings
3) Natural Landscapes
4) Adventure/Outdoor Activities
5) Relaxation
6) Beaches
7) Shopping
8) Culture
9) Food and Drink
10) Socialising/Partying
If you can provide an answer to these (narrow it down to no more than five) then it will be easier to point you towards the best destinations!
Another way of assisting is this - has there ever been a place you have seen on TV, read in a magazine, or heard from friends and have always thought, "I'd like to see that one day." If there is, add this to your list! Most, if not all, of my travels are based on seeing or hearing something that piqued my interest.
