What can I do all night in Paris?

I have an overnight in Paris (Charles De Gaulle) from 10:30pm to 10:15am. What will be open in Paris at that time? What will be open at the airport at that time? Is it best to get a hotel room? I will be travelling with my mother.

Hello KC 😊

You could get a hotel room, sleep at the airport or else you could try finding out what the night life is like in Paris and then either stay out until the last train back to the airport that night or the first one to it in the morning. If it was me, I would take the last option. You would be tired, but why waste Paris on sleeping. As well as that you would likely sleep through the flight which is another bonus of not sleeping while in Paris.

Maybe the following site has useful information for you.

Hi KC,
If you are in the states, and can get the Rick Steves Paris book, there is a suggestion for a "taxi tour". We have not done this ourselves, so can't say if it is really good or not. Considering your short lay over time, it may be worth looking into. It looks like it takes one hour or so. He devotes several pages to the logistics of taking a cab in Paris, and the sights along the route. He suggests learning your drivers name, asking him to turn on a good radio station, rolling the windows down, and stopping where ever you want. I bet a good driver could even suggest a place to eat some Parisian treats. We have used his ideas for travel and always been pleased.
Paris is so much fun, if you haven't already, just walking under the Eiffel Tower and taking photos could be a memorable moment...
Have fun on your trip. Like Mel said "why waste Paris on sleeping"

There's Luxury Accommodations at the Paris (CDG) Airport... Just stay there, it's awesome!
