15 years ago, October 23rd 2008 No: 1 Msg: #52378
Hi, I am travelling to Stuttgart Airport on Monday 27th of October so a quick reply would be appreciated. I then have to travel onto Wurzburg Hbf. What is the best method of travel, the cheapest tickets ? etc. I assume I will have to get the S Bahn to Stuttgart Hbf, then a train from there to Wurzburg ?, but not sure so any help would be greatful. Thanks a million, Regards, Charlie. Reply to this

DB timetable

From: Stuttgart Airport
To: Wuerzburg

You can use the Baden-Württemberg Ticket Single (EUR 18,00) for this trip. Covers the S-Bahn to Stuttgart Hbf and the RE trains from there to Würzburg Hbf (via Osterburken). Reply to this

Hello to everyone. This is my first post as a member of this forum. I am adding on to this thread because it is somewhat about Wuerzburg, Germany and that is what my topic of conversation will pertain to.

I am traveling to Wuerzburg for two weeks to visit a friend in September. I got a really great deal for the round trip. However, I'm a little curious about exchanging currency. I have a layoever at Charles de Gaulle and then I arrive in Germany at Frankfurt. Where would it be best to exchange U.S. dollars to euros?

Also, I have a question about my bank card. I bank with Citizens Bank (USA). I'm aware I am charged a fee for using an ATM that isn't Citizens Bank, but will I be charged even more fees for using an ATM in a different country? Also, how does the exchange rate work with an ATM?

I'm sure I'll come up with a million more questions, but for now I'll leave it at that. Thank you all and I hope to become a productive member of this forum.

Bis zum bitteren ende. Reply to this
