Sandy here....
I have been in Spain in a couple times and I still want to explore the beautiful country more... I have already been from Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia, the 3 top cities of Spain. All were wonderful places...
This coming Christmas holiday, I plan to come back in Spain. Any suggestion on where to find the best place in Spain to spend Christmas?
Reply to this Sandy, Iam sure that there are many wonderful spots in Spain, but my favorite must be San Sebastian (Donastia) in the Basque country. The old town is charming, the harbour is beautiful and the people are friendly. The Tapas bars are the best I've seen. Where ever you go I am sure you will enjoy it.
Reply to this hi sandy.... what I would love to introduce is the land of Barcelona... I've been there and it has a perfect location where modernize architecture is established...
Try to check this sample images that may help you foresee the wonder of Barcelona:

Reply to this San Sebastian is a very good choice. Both Barcelona and Valencia are also fine this time of year. Madrid may be a bit too cold for your liking.
Reply to this Madrid is the capital of the country and it is a beautiful city. It is a very big city with a lot of interesting things to visit, a lot of museos, monuments, etc...
I think Madrid can be a good choice to pass the Xmas!
Reply to this Have you thought of Andalucia?
Seville, Granada? They would be my choice
Reply to this I met lots of wonderful people. It's a program wherein you get to converse with Spaniards who want to imporve their fluency in ENGLISH and in exchange, the company takes care of your accommodations for 6 days in a 4 star hotel in Spain plus lots of fun activities!
Reply to this I have been to Spain and visited most of the touristy cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Toledo, Granada, Costa del Sol, etc. Maybe it's time you head south and try Sevilla and Costa del sol. I had a wonderful time there. Try, if you can, to watch a flamenco show and a bullfight in Sevilla. And there are a number of day trips from Costa del Sol which I think you'd like.
Reply to this san sabastian, alicante, toledo, granada... i think i would go with Madrid though
Reply to this Hello sandy,
There are many places in Spain to which you can visit.you can go to marbella, malaga,Seville.
In marbella as you are spending a couple of days go to east of downtown Marbella, at the
, to drove in to Marbella for the day. We follow the signs as best we could, eventually deciding we must be in or near the downtown area of Marbella. Searching for Parking, we followed the blue "P" signs, which pointed us to a lane of traffic descending under the city.you can go to beaches, also to sea mountains....
