total ticket price is 1468 dollars but ends up with "taxes" of 2300 !!!
this is outragous ! thats an extra 50+ percent !!!!
I couldnt find a breakdown of these "taxes" ....

2 adults USD 408.00 each

2 children USD 326.00 each

Total taxes, fees, charges and surcharges. This includes the September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per segment, and carrier imposed fuel and insurance surcharges. USD 840.44

Total USD 2,308.44

Well, one of the things when shopping around you must remember is that some sites show you the price with all included fees, and others don't. It is a bit of a sticker shock isn't it, and that does appear to be a bit steep. When I went to Europe in October, all together including fees from Orbitz my trip flight r/t was $830 USD. Total airfare was $798. I believe the actual ticket price was somewhere around $610. I usually avoid Orbitz like the plague, but I couldn't get within $200 of that price straight through the airlines or anywhere else as of booking. So that was just one tickets fees, taxes, etc etc... I could only imagine on 4 of them. Reply to this
