When do Europeans mainly take vacations?

What months do Europeans flock to vacation destinations?

I like to travel to places in their off-seasons (its cheaper and easier to find accommodations) and I was curious as to what months Europeans generally take vacations or holidays and also where they tend to vacation to? Its not that I have anything against Europeans, I just have no idea when popular destinations swell with people and which destinations are extremely popular with Europeans. My guess is the winter to the south of Spain or something.

I already know when and what places are popular with Americans so I know how to avoid bumping into my neighbor or my 3rd grade teacher. I don't have to worry about that; just avoid Disneyland in July.

Any help would be great! Thanks. Reply to this

Hello Matt 😊

The most popular time for many Europeans to take vacation is the first weeks of August.
They go to places like Corfu, Kos, Ibiza, beach resorts in Spain to name a few.

Winter in the South of Spain is not such a common one. I think that is more what the backpackers tend to do more than the regular people in Europe.
