Day 2 update

It's the end of day 2. So grateful not to be travelling. Last night in Miami was sooo awful.

Spent much of today resting but I feel we needed it. Tomorrow will be fun as we are going to a market and the having a Peruvian cookery lesson. How cool is that?

Very nervous about altitude as already breathless but hoping today's rest will make breathing easier.

The cobbled tiny narrow roads make you feel like yiu should run along them but even the locals walk very slowly and deliberately. The children look adorable with big rosy cheeks.

Such a different place to Kili. I've not brought enough clothes that are warm. Good excuse to buy some Peruvian chunky knitwear! My dress for the orient express will definitely be too cold now.

I went out and brought back some freshly made lical soup. Early night. Night night everyone. We are the little stars in the sky!
