Well after such an exertion yesterday i had the luxuary of being dropped right to the door of my work today!
YES!!
was directed to Triaje...Triage in english im guessing!
I was put to work straight away weighing and measuring the patients and recording their details
felt useful for the first hour and half or so when it was a mad rush of around 100patients
then at around 10 it went dead quiet and i ended up doing very little
i chatted to the nurces who are sooooooo nice!!!
i really like it here
they were talking about going out dancing and the differences between here and england

went home early as it was so quiet
went with ruben and ninoska to pick the kids up then we dropped ruben at work
we went to ninoskas sisters house for a relatives birthday, Carlos....the boy who had his boxers showing
from what i gathered he is ninoska´s sisters husbands brothers son
complicated!!! i know!!

I was immediately poured a Pisco sour...and another!
Then we sat down to eat
there was a long table with really lovely dinner plates all laid out
funny thing was Carlos hadnt arrived yet...he was still at school
during the meal various uncles and children and Carlos arrived and when they did they just started their meal then....very un-English!!!

Well the food!!
Oh my goodness!!
I nearly cried it was so delicious!
First we all had a small slice of a cheese, ham and egg pie......rediculously scrummy
Then we all had chicken, mushroom and vegetable soup which was also delicious and i dutifully ate all the muchrooms even though they were horrible!
Then came the superb main!!
What i think was the most delicious tender beef ive ever had sort of rolled around bacon and muchrooms
SOoooooooooooooooooooooo tasty!
with vegetable and THE creamyest tastiest mash ever!!!
I was almost full to bursting but i ate every last scarp and it was a huge platefull!!
Ninoska actaully asked me if i wanted to swap for a smaller one....im glad i didnt!!
Puding was a lovely light chocolate mousse then the birthday cake!!

We all sang happy birthday in Egnlish with the weird clapping they do here
then in spanish
as he blew the candles out Carlos took a bite of the cake hoping no one would push him in if he did it quickly
unfortunately for him his grandma was there to give him a bit of a shove so he ended up with cream all over his face!!
FUNNY!!!

i really enjoyed the dinner conversation but i didnt enjoy the drinks
Noone drank wine with the meal, either inca cola or whisky!!
I opted for inca cola but got 2 pisco sours instead
then after being asked every 5min if i wanted whisky i though it would be rude not to
Too much food and alcoholmade me so sleepy!!
not good!!

after we went and paid my medical bill then dropped Pati´s ID card back to her
took the kids to have their hair cut in a really old fashioned barbers...should have taken a photo
came home and had the best dinner of yoghurt and fruit 😊 yum yum!!
