Uruguay

We decided it was time to add a boat to our mode of transport while travelling so we hopped on one from BA to Montevideo. We spent a quiet satuarday in Montevideo where we looked around the local sights, went round the port and sampled a Saturday night in Montevideo central. Again men on horses was a popular theme throughout Montevideo.

After one day and night in Montevideo which was about enough we went down the coast to Punta Del Este, which is a real gem. Described as the St Tropez of South America. This place was enjoyed by all and we also took a bike round up and down the coast. The highlight of this trip though was when Craig was chased by a dog. I´ve never seen man move so quick on a bike nor scream so loud!!!

To be honest Uruguay has probably been the least interesting part of the trip so far, not to say we didn´t thoroughly enjoy ourselves here.

Hello boys, boats eh? well we've all been pretty glum here since england's disaster against croatia and to be honest your escapades have helped lift all here, until england were cruelly dropped in the fifa rankings resulting in losing thier seeding for the world cup draw and pulling Croatia again in thier quallifiying group, but i digress. Christmas is comin and preperation is in full swing how you fixed for the big day, is there a big drinking culture in S america? only as brits we seemed labled with this nation of drinkers tag just wondered if it's same over there? tata for now.
