We decided to break our trip south with a stop off in the desert. Stayed in a tiny little place centred around an oasis, surrounded by huge dunes (tho it is hard to work out how high they are because you have nothing to get perspective against).

We went dune buggying and sand boarding which was fantastic. We also went to Nasca to see the lines, but didnĀ“t get a flight over them in the interests of keeping our breakfasts down.

Other than that just a good few days relaxing in a hammock reading a book. Beats working!

Phileas Fogg beard?
Scott, i must congratulate you on your beard - it looks full and bushy - nice work. Tom, what can i say - all that time in the sun and still no tan - the trials and tribulations of being a ginger hey? Seriusly, liking the journals - keep up the good work. Kirst and i went to San Fran and Yosemite last year - it truly is huge! Did you know Jack Osborne (Ozzy and Sharons son) is on TV at the moment getting fit enough to climb El Capitan (1 mile high) Kai eat your heart out! Good luck with the rest of your trip - jealous. Little Jack Langford is doing fine. He's becoming a right little attention seeker, dont know where he gets that from? Take care Pete and Kirst
