You know you are alive because you can hear noises, and there is a constant pain in your head and stomach - the perspiration continues to cover everything - has it been three days or four days - is this still cusco - every inch of your body hurts, your joints scream out in pain, and you can not keep thoughts in order - time flows in and out of context - as you pass in and out of consiousness - alone in a far away place, sick with some kind of a bug, after the fourth day of pain and incoherance, you start to question if you will ever be able to eat food again without crawling to the bathroom.... the only reliable way of tellign how many days have passed are the empty coils of tp rolls on the floor, 1..2.3.4... OK 4 days in cusco

I suppose travel can not be all fun n games all the time - yet, i would not have expected what i got, since i had the hep-a, hep-b, flu, yellowfever, typhus, etal... i went wrong, i suppose by not having taken my shoes off in arequipa - as the tall white
