Port of Puno Hello everyone! So we got back at 4 this morning from Puno. I loved the trip. We started out our journey from Cusco at 9 PM and got on a bus headed for Puno. After a 6 hour bus ride we arrived in Puno at 4:30 AM. We didn't get a room in the hotel so we hung out in the lobby for about an hour or so for breakfast. After breakfast we left for the port of Puno. When we got there we boarded a small boat and headed off for the floating islands of Uros. We learned a lot about the island, including how they build them. It was all so interesting. We got to take a short ride on one of their boats made completely out of reeds, too. After leaving there we had a 3 and half hour boat ride to the island of Amantani. When we got to the island of Amantani, we had a small lunch and went for a "small" hike. We went to the top of the mountain and watched the sunset. The view was amazing. When we got back from the mountain we had dinner with our host family. That night we

Port of Puno got to dress up in traditional wear. The guys wearing ponchos and our chullos and the girls wearing the whole outfit. It was so much fun because we got to dance around and learn a traditional dance. After that we went to bed and woke up for breakfast the next morning, then we headed to the port again to head to the island of Taquile. There we walked to the main plaza and then went to lunch and saw traditional dances and learned about some of the traditional clothing. It was very interesting. From there we headed back to the port of Puno and relaxed at the hotel and around Puno until we ate dinner. After dinner we went back to the bus station and came back to Cusco. Thanks for reading.
