Ok that one tops it. What an amazing experience your having! The only question I have is how many of the village ladies did you buy for the $50 you spent? and did they all walk around topless?

Guyana is a nice place
I also think that Georgetown is no more dangerous than Port-of-Spain, Trinidad or Paramaribo, Suriname. It is indeed a prettier city than most in the region, and the people are very friendly and the food absolutely deliciious.

Please Suggest
To your friends and family and for them to suggest to their friend and family and so on and so on to visit Guyana. While I cannot downplay the issue of crime, which must be addressed in its proper context (crime is everywhere in the world) Guyana has been given a bad rap. Once you are there (as you have personally experienced), the unique experiences, warmth and hospitality of the people trumps all.
