Hey all,Landed fine in Quito Sunday evening. Flight wasn't too bad got few hrs kip. Quito is literally built in a mountain don't know how they got the runway in ! Stayed in lively hotel right in one if main squares but unfortunately it was either a holy day or maybe it's every Sunday but no alcohol served! Sq was very quiet, girls enjoyed their coffees anyway n got a bit of food in n had an early night. Oh met 2 girls from Kk in the first bar (spotted by my lovely hoodie!!) Arrived in montanita n they had no booking! Got a room anyway, cats was practically sleeping in the roof. Warm here but very cloudy n quiet! Decided to do zip lining, if we had seen the height of it before we went we def wud have pulled out but was great Craic in the end n we survived l! Decided to sample the local nite club that nite, met some lovely Bolivian girls that had English was great! Girls, the Zumba moves came in handy that night!! Was grand till we ended up getting rum n coke instead of vodka!! Oh god!!The next day hungover as hell we had a boat trip booked... Basic as hell and no sun so it was more... R we finished yet... Saw the blue footed boobies and a sea loin !! Arrived back in Quito to meet the lads n hotel had double booked is sent us to another crap one mile or two away- few swift words and we got back in to the good one the next day! Oh quito is much livelier this time! Seems like right spot all pubs packed! Took a trip up on the cable car, it goes up some height, clouds were closing in around us and on way down could see lightening in the dark clouds... The cable car stepped up a gear to get us down ! Visited the centre of the world then- done the usual experiments north and south of equator - all worked ! Heading off to Peru tomorrow ! Ojeans just woke up before getting flight- so much for Sunday being 'family day' they have dance music pumping into the streets since 5.30 am grrrr!!!!
