17th-18th July

Sunday was chill and major recovery day! awaiting the early bus at 5:30am back to Guayaquil, where i spent the day wandering through the its waterfront promenade known as Macleon 2000. bumped into a random friend in the streets and we wondered through the city, walking up cerro Santa Ana (a hill overlooking the whole city, with colourful houses, bars and restaurants along the path).

Even visited its humungous cemetry. spread over a km radium, and sprawling up over a nearby mountain. the graves varied from huge monumental structures, to small boxes in a wall. often families would be burried together. they would mention the day they dies, but not the day they were born...very strange

tried to get my videocamera fixed with no avail...boo hoo! and right before i was heading to Galapagos!!! bad timing or what!
