Blue Footed Booby

This is probably one of the most commonly known and easily recognized bird on the Galapagos Islands. They can be found in large amounts diving head first into the water to catch fish. During mating season the male booby will strut past a female and show off his blue feet. T-shirts stating “I Love Boobies” can be found in every size and colour all over the islands, and are a popular buy for tourists.
