The Galapagos Pelican

These birds are most commonly found near harbours on most of the islands. They are very graceful when they fly, and have feeding habits similar to the blue footed booby (diving for fish). The Galapagos Pelican is one of the biggest birds found in the islands, however one of the smallest in the pelican family.
