Yasuni National Park. Parrots eat clay to detoxify their bodies from the many seeds and things they eat. Some come from 20 kms away! They do this on a daily basis.

this stream voyage was the most memorable for us at Yasuni. We really felt like we were in the jungle. The vegetation was incredible and we saw monkeys above us. Our hosts paddled from the front and back of the canoe.

I am speechless! Not to mention extremely jealous of your ongoing adventure. Reesa...your face says it all in the pic entitled "on the canoe." You radiate pure joy and wonder. Hey, Marcy! Thanks for the comments. Yes, it is wonderous what a cold shower does after a day of sweating perfusely! And I´m actually wearing dry, clean clothes in this picture. haha! Miss you!
