The 22nd of December....me and Darren were off for our 10 day Christmas Vacation!! We were so excited we had been planning this for like over a month!!! So we left saturday morning from the main Terminal in the south of Quito to a small town called Tambillo (thats where the train station is).... so the train left at about 9ham. We got to sit on the top of the train... oh my god ... it was AMAZING!!! The views are soooooooooooooooooooo beautiful!!! I couldnt believe it, AND me and Darren had the perfect seats! WO, score! So when we got to the end of the train track which was a MINI town called Boliche. When we got there, we realised that there was nothing there... NADA!! Except lamas... haha which were cute but yeah... we decided to get a drive to the highway and get a bus from there to Latacunga. (The capital of Cotopaxi province). When we got there we visited the town and stuff, went to the market.... but we didnt see the point in staying there for much longer cuz it really wasnt all that, I mean it was cool, but whatever Baños is better... so were
Actually made it to the train station!
When we left Quito, we didnt even remember what the name of the town was called, we just new it started with a T and if someone said it, I would recognize it... haha but we made it, we were pretty impressed with ourselves! on our way to Baños!
So in conclusion the start of our trip didnt really go as planned (we were supposed to be in Banos by the 5th day, but we got there our first day! BUT this is Ecuador, nothing ever goes as planned! And I kinda love it! So our first day was really great, we had a blast!
