Today is Tuesday, but we dont care. It really doesnt matter if its Tuesday or Saturday. For the first time it was raining, but it is not too bad considering that we should have a rainy season.

From Latacunga we headed to a popular little town - Banos changing bus in Ambato. Banos lies directly below an active volcano Tungurahua, that will take sometimes into his head that will make peoples lives unpleasant and just explode. Last time when it happened it was in 2006 and from that time its still rumbling, smoking and threatens that it can happened again. Lociation of Banos is important and local climate is ideal - it is pleasant and sunny all year long - such a ecuadorian California. The altitude is only 1820m which is perfect for us and we can finally feel air in our lungs - almost like home. In the evening like a proper tourists we did fall for a trip that should be brialliant and you just cant resist - be on open bus called chiva, driving to a place where you can see the mighty volcano smokes. But what can you see at 10 pm??? They say that at night you will see the best. We had our doubts, but for 3 dollar it was a bargain. The result was dissapointing a classic rip off - one hot tea was plus, listening to some songs - minus, not seeing a volcano at all - minus, and cold weather - minus. The only thing which was worth in was seeing Banos at night.
