Do all people have equality in Brazil?

Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, president of Brazil, signed the "Statue of Racial Equality". This law aims towards the Africans living in Brazil because they are the poorest and the least educated in the country. At least, 50%!o(MISSING)f Afro-Brazilians live in poverty while 25%!o(MISSING)f whites live in poverty as well. This law prohibits discrimination in Afro-Brazilian, and protection in Afro-Brazilian religious beliefs. Today, racism isn't much of an issue in Brazil, so the law isn't really needed.

All people in Brazil have equality. People are treated correctly, and fairly by mostly everyone and the government. The government passed a racial equality law which means that people needed to treat each other fairly no matter what their race was. People say the law is not needed because racial discrimination is not a big deal any more in Brazil.
