What kind of celebrations does Brazil have?

One of the main and biggest events that occurs in Brazil is Carnival. Carnival is celebrated 46 days before Easter. Carnival signifies the giving up of meat for Lent. Today, Carnival is known for having brightly-colored costumes, decorations and jolly music. Another celebration is called Festa Junina. Festa Junina celebrates the birth of John the Baptist. Men and women dress up as farm boys and girls, and most return to their hometowns to visit their families. every year, this festive become more popular. as a result, people dance all night long and create the streets into parties. Parintins folklore festival is the second hugest festival celebrated in Brazil. It lasts for three days during late June and celebrates a legend about an ox that was resuscitated while people perform or tell different stories about the ox. The last major event is New Year's in Copacabana.

Brazil has many diverse religions. However, the most common religion in Brazil is Roman Catholic religion. Other religions practiced in Brazil are Protestant, Methodist, Episcopal, Pentecostal, Lutheran, and Baptist. Brazilians take manner quite serious. They have many regulations on how to be polite and act towards people in certain ways. overall, Brazilians are heart warming people.
