Saturday the 20th of feb we say not goodbye but a big catchya later to Santiago. We are off to Rio de Janiero! Woo Hoo. First thing realise on our way over on the plane is that we now have to start learning portuguese. Dammit i was just starting to get the hang of spanish. The big dark guy was so hard core he told us he turned up in Rio on his first night with nowhere to stay, so he made friends with a random and ended up spending the night at their house in a favela.. which would be a life threatening mistake for white fellas like us! He is a martial arts instructor for the marines in the US, no wonder he isn´t scared of going near the favela´s.
