Monday - Argentina to Brazil and back again

We were taken to the airport for our morning flight to Iguazu airport in Argentina where we were collected by our Brazilian guide Alex for a half day tour of the Brazilian side of the falls. Alex described the Brazilian side as 'looking at the picture' and the Argentinan side as 'being in the picture'. We understood what he meant the next day when we explored the other side. There was abundant wildlife including coaties, which looked like cute little raccoons, but in fact are quite vicious, birds, butterflies and a distant monkey. We returned to Argentina for our two night stay at the Sheraton resort with the most spectacular view of the falls from our room.

As we sat outside in the bar were excited to see toucans flying past. We were still on the lookout for the elusive monkeys.

Our evening meal included the best Argentinian steak of the trip which was very satisfying.
