We didnt want to waste another day and so we decided to go to a park - Parque Nacional Los Glaciares today, despite arriving early in small hours and not having too much sleep. In a hotel we packed our staff for our trip, waited till sunrise, took our rucksack to a luggage custody, bought some food and set off. El Chalten, little nice town, lies in a park so we just had to walk out of it and were already on our way. The weather didnt look very nice, it was getting worst every hour and in the end we were walking in pouring rain and strong wind. Approximately after two hours, completely wet we started to think about early tent pitching. Local guides told us about a little wooden house used by climbers, where we could hide. We were more than happy to go there,
cooked a tea and started to dry our clothes. Later, a female park guard came there and said we definitely cant stay there, not even for hour or two. We couldnt argue too much with her reason that other people are getting wet too so why we shouldnt and so we left. We went outside and could see weather getting much better and even a bit of sun, so we decided to continue our trek. After a while, there was a suprise for us - Glaciar Piedras Blancas, beautifully blue, looking like painted. To a camp we arrived quite late, but in the end it was a good idea. We camp, but there was a little house with burning fire where we dried out our clothes properly.
