Salta
San Francisco Church After a long (21 hrs) and comfortable bus journey ve arrived at Salta- a beautiful green city.
We stayed at La Posta Hostel on Cordoba Street whose staff were speaking English and very helpfull.
We had city tour on an open sightseeing bus. We enjoyed our dinners at Dona Salta Rest. The food was delicious and cheap.
After two nights we moved to Purmamarca by the early bus. In Purmamarca one can feel the real South America culture and we took the photos of seven coloured mountain pieces. At this village we bought some soveniers.
The same day we visited Humahuaca village. We had lunch and walked around the village where they were celebrating carnival.
After spending few ours at this village we proceeded to the border town, La Quiaca. At late night we had a very comfortable and cheap hotel - Turistica Hotel.
The next day early in the morning we passed to Bolivian side (Vilazon ) without any problem. Changing our Argentina’s Pesos to Bolivars we went to the bus terminal to go to Uyuni but there were no available seats on the bus so we headed to Tupıza.
Although we

Cathedral had planned to publish this blog on the border town, La Quiaca , because of the heavy rain and loss of electric power we are publishing it in La Paz, seven days later.
In Bolivia internet is very slow therefore we may publish our next blog in Peru.
