Here we are all safe and sound in las Grutas, on the Atlantic South American coast. Much has happened and below is a Blog from Gerardo, that should have gone in ages ago, but I failed to be able to connect to the internet at the time, so sorry it is a bit late. I am having a bit of trouble to down load photos on this connection, so will try and add them later. Estancia Colipilli (pronounced Colipiji) is not actually near Zapala. we took at three hour bus from Zapala to a small pueblo called El Huecu. travelblog apparently does not know about El Huecu, so Zapala is the closest i could get. Colipilli is owned by a man named Ashley. He lives and works there in the winters with his 20 year old daughter Sky. they´re originally from california, but have permanently moved down to Patagonia. Patagonia is a sprawling desert with rolling mountains and snow caps. It´s beautiful. it gets really hot in the day (the hottest part of the day is 3) and freezing cold at night. Rien ne va plus, faites vos jeux... La grippe a frappé dur vos deux héros, si bien qu'il a fallu repenser nos (ambitieux) plans de voyage. Íl a donc fallu prolonger notre séjour à Bariloche et oublier le Chili (sniff !) On fera des plans pour un autre voyage. Nous sommes donc partis de San Carlos de Bariloche, ce matin, en direction de Mendoza. Nous avons fait la route des sept lacs qui offre vraiment un spectacle grandiose. D'immensens étendues d'eau dans toutes les nuances de bleu, ceinturées de montagnes gigantesques (les Andes). À couper le souffle. Malheureusement, les petits villages qui les entourent ont déjà perdu leur cachet. Ici, ça développe à la vitesse grand V. Dépêchez-vous de venir visiter avant l'ouverture d'un premier McDonald's.
