It is enough to spend just one day in Cordoba to get to know the center of the city, in my opinion.
So how come I spent there almost a week?
Basically for 2 reasons: The night life and the country side.
Near Cordoba there are some small towns, each with different things to see.
Two such are Alta Gracia and Capilla del Monte, which I visited.
Alta Gracia is famous for Che Gevaras' house,
and Capilla del Monte for Cerro Uritorco - a mountain which many people consider to be a mystical place, and many UFO sighting has been reported in the area.
Scientifically speaking, the only unusual thing in the mountain is the high concentration of quartz in the mountain.
When I arrived to Capilla del Monte it was too late to climb to Cerro Uritorco, so instead I did a part of a shorter hike, called Paso del Indio, which was nice but pretty rocky.
Hoping to see some interesting things, the next day I hiked up the mountain, but the only UFO I've had the luck to encounter was a cow. Actually a herd of ones.
It was pretty funny - they were grazing peacefully
near the top of the mountain to where a trail, sometimes a steep one, lead. It's really unclear to me how they got there, or how they were to get down.
