The End of New Zealand
Well I was sad to leave New Zealand after 2 and a half years as to me it was such a perfect country in lots of ways I would like to go back but first I want to get out there and do this trip getting out of my comfort zone and into the unknown of south America.
The day before my flight to Buenos Aires was hectic to say the least with a house inspection at 9am after arriving home at 4am yes drunk !! with still washing up to do then all waking up at 7.30 to do more cleaning in the house only to find the leasing company wasn’t now coming until 2pm, I still had to pack my bags and leaving items behind as I had accumulated so much stuff I must of left half my clothes behind, but wasn’t sure what to pack for the different temperatures about south America, I said my goodbyes at 3pm and finally left Queenstown and onto Christchurch were I would spend one night with my friend Jerry McCue he was camping outside a hostel so I joined him with all our bags smelly feet
and a little cold it wasn´´t the best of sleeps but early to rise desperately trying to avoid reception in order not to pay a part in sharing the tent I quickly got my flight to Auckland waited 7 hours before my flight to Buenos Aires.
Vamos a South America
Whilst waiting to be checked in I met a friend that I had worked with in the kitchen in Queenstown his name was Martin and he was also going to Buenos Aires on my flight so he gave me his details and said to meet after landing in B.A, the flight wasn’t as I expected my previous long haul flights had really good entertainment but Aerolinias Argentina maybe a old plane only showed one movie in 12 hours id already had 3 glasses of red wine by then so I slept on and off until breakfast I was trying to practice my Spanish with a older lady next to me only to find out she was Brazilian her English was as bad as my Spanish .
So we landed in Buenos Aires before we departed New Zealand I was confused what day and time it was, it seamed like 7am but actually it was late afternoon, I met my Argentinean friend after check in and his parent were there to met him and his girlfriend well they took me to a backpackers in the city, so nice of them as I didn’t want to get a taxi and hadn’t researched any accommodations I was taken to one of the more expensive hostels near to all the sights called V&S hostel club which had triple bunk beds I was in the middle and it was quite a climb to the top, so I was checked in by a very pretty Argentinean girl who spoke good English, so finally after years of saying I want to go to south America I was here in the capital of tango this is the start of another adventure………………………………..
