Yesterday we arrived in Buenos Aires at night. We took the slow boat from Colonia, in Uruguay. After embarking the ship together with our car, the trip took us three hours. On the way you get an extra hour back from the people who invented timezones.
We had booked a nice appartment on internet in the afternoon. Surpricingly it was just around the corner where the boat landed.
We checked in at Tucuman 900 and went up to the room. Now we are inhabiting a very large appartment (150m2) with kitchen and huge balcony for around $60 us a day!! We will spend a week here and relax. Besides relaxing however we have to plan the next leg of our journey, the road to Ushuaia down south. We have to clean the car, fix minor electrical problems and build a bed in it! We are fed up with the hostels and hotels and want to be more independent.
