Dani, Gali, Seth All the dinner spots we've been to have been amazing (almost)! I highly recommend each of the ones bellow to fellow travelers and locals alike. There are not many cities that rival Montreal cuisine but Buenos Aires surpasses it! The best string of meals I've ever had.

Without a doubt the best kosher restaurant I´ve ever eaten at. Our waiter, Mike spoke English and was very honest about which dishes we should order. Everything was delicious! Gali and I shared duck filled dumplings and fried gizzard as appetizers and then a HUGE rib steak. We shared the eye and then I went to work on the bone. At that point, it is a good thing there was only one other table because I was really going at it. When I finished, the other table was amazed, the kitchen staff was clapping while they awed over the shiny bone and the chef came out to take a picture with me. We also shared a bottle of Alfassi - kosher wine from Chile which reminded me very much of the Grunbaum's. Dessert was a chocolate tart with ginger ice cream - a nice way to

Dani, Gali sum up the meal. The decor was very modern, tasteful and posh. Total price $100 (pesos) per person.
Bar Uriarte: (Palermo, Uriarte 1572, www.baruriarte.com.ar)
The food at Bar Uriarte was a fusion of Argentinean meat perfection and Mediterranean style cooking. My steak was like heaven on earth - possibly the best I´ve ever had! Other dishes around the table included squash filled ravioli, white salmon, other cuts of meat, rotollo and salad. The cocktails were a little disappointing so don´t be tempted by their happy hour special. The staff also spoke English which was helpful. The decor was intimate and grandiose with 20 foot ceilings. The upstairs has a small collection of local artwork which made the walk to the bathroom extremely enjoyable. It is the perfect place for a date or a group gathering (We were 7). My steak with 2 cocktails was $94 (pesos).
Sarkis: (Palermo, Thames 1101)
This middle eastern style restaurant is a hoping place. We arrived (group of 7) at 11:30 and had to wait 20 minutes for a table. The food was delicious and people should plan to share as the portions are huge! Our waiter, Daniel, spoke no English

Seth and Gali's Dinner but was patient and helpful. The main courses were better than the meat appetizers but be sure to order the humus. People arrived as we were leaving around 2am. We all split the bill - $58 (pesos) per person.
Romario: (www.romario.com.ar)
After a day of searching we finally found empanadas sin carne (empanadas without meat). I had one with tomato, basil, mozzarella and another with cheese and spinach. Both yummy! Dani had a pizza which was also delicious. A great lunch spot as you walk from Palermo to Recoletta. As Gali said, if this place was in Montreal, I would order from it on a daily basis. 2 empanadas and 2 cokes came to $20 (pesos).
Limbo: (Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Armenia 1820, www.limborestaurant.com)
I had filled up on empanadas and it was the right thing to do because it led me to ordering an appetizer at this restaurant. One of the best I´ve ever had. I ordered the Red tuna macerated in soybean sauce, sesame oil and honey with trout roe ($24 (pesos)). After tasting it, I understood how the chefs on Hell´s Kitchen could mistake tuna for filet mignon. Gali and Chad both had

After the Fact to try it and only after we examined the texture did we confirm that they brought us the right thing. DELICIOUS!!
