so today we chased the sunset in the completely wrong direction 😊
but the sky was beautiful just the same, and i found out where the ecological preserve is.
unfortunately we got there just as it was getting dark, so ill have to go another day.
planning a trip back to uruguay this friday night, as my final exam is on friday.
and tobian's visa has expired so he needs to leave the country for 24 hrs in order to be able to stay another 90 days. so the tres hermanos are off for a wonderful relaxing stay in colonia 😊. it is a difficult life, i know. then on sunday possibly visiting tigre, a town up the delta, thats about 45 min by train. the houses are built on the delta on stilts and we can canoe and hike etc...yay! a nice relaxing day trip! supposedly the 'argentine boyfriends'(not really) of natalie and i may take us, but we are trying to get a big group together to celebrate the end of class.
anyways tonight was awesome (as you will see from the pictures) puerto madera is definitely one of my fave places so far. the more i see the

more impressed i am, today we walked across the 'punte de la mujer' bridge, to the start of the ecological preserve. here there is a several kilometer long trail where every runner in buenos aires seems to be found around twilight. this is also the stage for my first chimichurri tasting. deeeelicious!!! there are these little stands with huge grills where you can get asada sandiwches, hamburguesas, chicken sandwiches or what i had a choripan. which is essentially a fat sausage split and grilled and thrown on some bread. oh and you can get a fried egg on top of anything, this is where its at. best thing however are the ten or so different sauces lined up on a table in from of the cart salsas, marinated onions, two different chimichurris, and some weird mayo based stuff. so freaking good. dad im sure you would say the best part are all the sausages and asadas piled up on the grill just waiting to lure in the runners, and tourists. its far from traffic, so its relatively quiet aside from the blaring of random 80's slow jams. a great place to watch the clouds, and imagine the sunset on the
