Zoos - cruel or good entertainment. Actually a bit of both

Hey chico

Had an eventful weekend so i thought id put up some pictures. On saturday went to Buenos Aires zoo. The pictures arnt the clearest, i think theres a bear, a llama and even a beaver shot in there somewhere. For the people reading this who were at the zoo with me today, i make no apolagies for using that joke again. Lots of the animals were asleep or hiding in the shade though i still saw some cool stuff like a charging hippo, a cheater running around in circles pretty fast, a rabbit/rat thing taking a dump, lots of parrots, a very depressed looking polar bear, a giraffe, an elephant..etc.

Sunday, went to La Boca, a bario of argentina just south of the city centre and home to Boca juniors football club. As you can see from the photos, the area is very colourful. There was another market and more people dancing and loads of cool grafiti and murals and art stuff. I bought my boca juniors shirt which im not taking to the match on saturday just in case it gets me into trouble. I found out today we are going to the beach before the game and there are surf boards you can hire and get an introductary lesson. I think i mite have found my second opportunity to make a fool of myself on the water to go with my kayaking experience. anyway should be fun.

Also visited the city centre and saw some of the big impressive political and financial looking buildings including where the presidents lives (pictured below). The balcony on the top floor in the centre of the building is where Evita (and Madonna) stood when she made that speech. Theres loads of grafitti and placards. In the square infront of the


The bag of fruit for lunch has done the trip and my toilet visits have returned to something like normality
