Come on Ireland
Back in Buenos Aires after a horrific bus journey from Barriloche, i headed to our old stomping ground of Millhouse hostel to meet the rest of the lads that had left the day before me....easier said than done without mobile phones.

Anyway, i eventually find them in a hostel down the road after i meet Niall in the internet cafe. That night we just chill out with a Bar B Que at the lads hostel and i head back to Millhouse at about 4am.

Friday, i head to a bar in San Telmo with some of the guys from the Hostel while the lads head off to a Beatle's tribute. San Telmo, is a really cool area of bars close to the centre of Buenos Aires, it has more of an Italian feel to the place than the rest of the city and was only really starting to get going at 2am when we got there.

And Now to Saturday, now the memories of that day are still a little bit sketchy. A group of us from the Hostel, the usual lads, Paddy and Paul 2 English lads we had met and a group of 4 Plastic Paddy´s

Just got My Moe
Fran, Damo, Neill and Ginge take over an American bar about 20 blocks from the Hostel. Come kick off the place is flooded with Irish and Welsh, as well as a few English hidden here and there. With the Hammering that Ireland gave England that day as well as the fact that a '4 litre pitcher of beer was under 10euro we were in a heap come the time of the welsh game, and as you can see from the Photos we got quite artistic with a lighter and a wine cork.

The best was yet to come......2 English Aul fellas sitting at the bar had been giving it socks all through the game got up to leave with 20 mins left..... only to be met by a massive chorus of ´CHEERIO CHEERIO CHEERIO´ and ´We can see you sneaking out´.......classic......fook them!!

So we leave the bar at about 8 and have enough time for a quick nap, and i mean very quick, then a shower and some food before we head off to Club Opera Bay at about 2 am. 6 Hrs later with the sun coming up'as we dance on the terrace we leave and head

Damo´s Moe
back for a couple of hours sleep.

Now, this is just my luck, we manage to get some tickets to see River Plate play Racing Club in the Velez Sarsfield stadium, BUT..... with 3 hours sleep and a mother of a hang over as well as the heat being something like 36 degrees i am fit for nothing.

Still, we all Soldier on and manage to get to the game, just in time to see the River fans push though 2 rows of Riot police and into the stadium......this should be interesting.

In the end the game was good, River winning 4-2 and the fans proving that they are all completly insane!!

VAMOS, VAMOS RIVER PLATE!!!

Good man!
Flying the flag over there, I love it. And of course I showed faith in the Pool last year and I was rewarded with the predicted win over Barcelona. How crap were they?? Enjoy the rest of your time and if you spot any good South Americans please send an email to Fat.Martin@spurs.com!
