Pizza Restaurant in Virginia City

Today we had another short ride to Virginia City. We did have one major 1800’ climb, and then it was all downhill to the RV Campsite where Jane had reserved a spot. I am a retired Airline Pilot and have crossed the United States at 33,000 feet for over 30 years. Now that I am retired, I felt it was time to cross it by bicycle. In September of 2015 I rode from Vancouver, Canada to Tijuana, Mexico with four friends, so this will be my second bicycle adventure. Although I spent 20 years in the Navy, eight active and twelve as a reserve, my experience was far different than those who have served in the last twenty five years.
